Poetry & Songs:
Everything and more

By: Arjan Wardekker

When the aching is over,
I hope there'll be something left of me.
I know that you'll understand,
but what will we turn out to be?

I wish I could hold you now,
so that we could talk it over.
Just wish us to end this pain
and for our hearts to be closer.

My heart stopped beating
and the clock's ticking fewer every day.
The shards of silcence that ripped up my heart,
will they tear us apart, along the way?

You still mean everything to me,
everything and more.
'Cause you're the part of me that's still alive.
But when the clock stops ticking, will there be an open door?
