Underneath a raven's paw,
stands a block of granit raw.
No goodbye, no parting word,
only raven makes his cries heard.
Broken, yet its whole, a sword,
dragon left it from its hoard.
Red is the blade, red as a rose,
drawn blood for the tale to close.
Maiden's tears now cloud her sight,
not forgotten is this knight.
On his grave, the roses grow,
tower stands, her eyes still glow.
All the pain that we endure,
worth it if the cause is pure.
May it be that my heirloom,
on my grave the roses bloom.
