A miniature repeating crossbow is an automated version of a hand crossbow. It holds five crossbow bolts. While it holds bolts, you can shoot the crossbow according to your normal number of attacks without reloading. Loading a new case of five bolts is a move-equivalent action that provokes attacks of opportunity. A clip of five bolts for a miniature repeating crossbow costs 1 gp and weighs 1 lb. Category: Exotic Weapons - Ranged; (D&D 3.0: Size: Tiny;) Cost: 300 gp; Damage: 1d4; Critical: 19-20/x2; Range Increment: 30 ft.; Weight: 5 lb.; Type: Piercing.

While it holds bolts, you can shoot the crossbow according to your normal number of attacks without reloading. Loading a new case of five bolts is a move-equivalent action that provokes attacks of opportunity. A clip of five bolts for a small repeating crossbow costs 1 gp and weighs 1 lb. Category: Exotic Weapons - Ranged; (D&D 3.0: Size: Small;) Cost: 235 gp; Damage: 1d6; Critical: 19-20/x2; Range Increment: 60 ft.; Weight: 9 lb.; Type: Piercing. * NOTE that in D&D Edition 3.0 the feat Two-Weapon Fighting normally applies to melee weapons only. In order to receive the benefits of this feat for fighting with two crossbows, the feat will need to be taken specifically keyed at ranged weapons (unless your game master rules otherwise).
