Elven Rope of Relaxation
By: Arjan Wardekker
Type: Misc. item (magic)
Game: Dungeons & Dragons (D&D)

The Elven Rope of Relaxation was an item designed and owned by Gildor of Elenor, an Elven king who's lazyness reached epic proportions. The rope was one of his trademark items.
It looks just like an ordinary hemp rope of 50 feet in lengh. The item radiates enchantment and alteration magic when detected for. Once the rope is tied around the trunks of two trees or just about any two objects that stand at about two meters distance from eachother, a command word can be uttered. Upon speaking this command word, the piece of the rope that is in between the two objects transforms into a hammock that can be used by a creature size medium or smaller. To transform the hammock back into a rope, the command word must be uttered again.
The hammock is very comfortable and ensures a good sleep, unless external factors (eg. someone waking the sleeping person all the time) prevent this.
