Type: Rod, wand or staff
Game: Any
value: Quite a lot; depends on game system and setting. Casting disruption and polymorphing should be quite expensive.
weight: 0,5 lb.
The Wand of the Butterfly can be cast upon the wielder or on another person, with different effects.
If cast upon the wielder:
roll 1d100:
01-25: Wielder and all things he's carrying are turned into a butterfly for 4d6 rounds.
26-95: 5d10 butterflies spray from the tip of the wand and fly around the wielder. These butterflies don't cause any damage, but prevent spellcasting. The swarm vanishes after 4d6 rounds.
96-00 The wand turns into a butterfly and flies away.
If cast upon another person:
roll 1d100:
01-20: Target and all things he's carrying are turned into a butterfly for 4d6 rounds.
21-75: 5d10 butterflies spray from the tip of the wand and fly around the target. These butterflies don't cause any damage, but prevent spellcasting. The swarm vanishes after 4d6 rounds.
75-85: Wielder and all things he's carrying are turned into a butterfly for 4d6 rounds.
86-95: 5d10 butterflies spray from the tip of the wand and fly around the wielder. These butterflies don't cause any damage, but prevent spellcasting. The swarm vanishes after 4d6 rounds.
96-00: The wand turns into a butterfly and flies away.
If the wielder or the target is turned into a butterfly, he/she will retain his/her normal amount of hitpoints and armor class, etc.
