By: Arjan Wardekker Type: Enchantment/charm Class & Level: Cleric 1 Game: Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) This spell comes in two versions: "Impressive Entrance" (for sorcerers/wizards) and "Graceful Entrance" (for clerics).
Caster/Level: Clr 1
Range: 1 doorway; touch The "Eomund's Impressive Entrance" spell was created by Eomund, an Elven wizard, who was always completely ignored. Therefore, he created a spell to make a good impression on people when he would enter a room. This is a priest version of that spell. Before entering the room, the priest must knock on the door or on the wall directly next to the door. When he walks through the doorway, a heavenly choir (which can't be seen) starts singing "haleluja" and a clearly visible beam of light falls through the nearest window, spotlighting the priest. If there is no window present, the light will appear from straight above the priest. Up to 5 creatures per level that can behold the scene will be very impressed by the heroic, graceful and divine entrance of the priest, unless they succeed at a save. If the save succeeds, they won't be magically impressed, but will still hear the choir and see the beam of light and may be impressed in a normal way. The material component for this spell is the priest's holy symbol, prayer beads or a similar item.
Licensing: Eomund's Graceful Entrance (2nd edition version) Game: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D)
