By: Arjan Wardekker Type: Conjuration Class & Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 1 Game: Dungeons & Dragons (D&D)
Caster/Level: Wiz 1
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
This spell conjures a flowerpot above the heads of the designated targets. The wizard can create 1 flowerpot/level, but only 1 flowerpot can be assigned to any one target. It will contain 1 plant, determined by the sort of seed used as spellcompontent. This plant cannot be larger than about 15 cm, so if the caster used a seed of an oak, the conjured plant will be a very young and small oak. The flowerpot will fall down, towards the targets, even if they are moving. The targets must succeed at a saving throw to avoid the pot. If the save succeeds, the flowerpot will miss and fall to pieces near the target. If the save fails, the pot will hit the target and cause 1d6+1 points of damage. Of course, the pot will be destroyed. The plant has a 50% chance to survive, although this can be modified for the circumstances (if the pot falls in the middle of a fire, for example). Material components: a seed from any normal plant and a piece of broken pottery.
