Men with a Mission: The good fight

Sensor is a paladin, so he's good. And being good, he believes, is good. He thinks it's good to be good. And if you're good at being good, you're a good, good person, which is pretty good.
He likes to help people; whenever anyone in his city Sigil has troubles because he's being threatened, he's hungry or he's doing his taxes, he just calls out for Senor. The new word for 'help' has become 'Sensor.' Of course it has taken a lot of adjustment for the people of Sigil, who now ask their neighbor if he can Sensor them with gardening.
He's always alert, whenever evil fiends get into a building, he is there and asks: "Can't you knock? " He will apologize if the fiend indeed isn't able to knock, too.
Sensor can deal with everything because of his hard training: people, who litter, murder of sing out on the street. But his training has a fatal flaw, which he discovered on one of the darkest days of his live.
The day started out nicely, the sun was shining and evil monsters, which he could slay without remorse, were threatening his party.
"That will teach you trying to kill us when we haven't even met!" he called and heroically hit him with his sword. Suddenly he heard something horrible, a heroic voice that wasn't his!
"Fear not, brave people, I am here!"
Elegantly a brave paladin jumped before Sensor and started slaying the evil creature.
"Say, one at the time" the creature complained, before he fell to earth.
"Well," Sensor said with a not too happy face. "Err... thank you."
The other members all came happily around him and cheered.
"I just did what I had to do," he said smiling.
"What's your name?" Sensor asked.
"I've already said it: I," I replied.
I turned out to be another paladin who came in just in time (they were going to eat after their encounter with the evil creature).
After dinner, Sensor, as usual, offered to do the dishes, which always was generously approved by his party members. Only this time, I insisted on helping him.
"Shall I help you?"
"You don't have to, if you don't want to."
"I don't mind, if you don't mind me taking over your work, because if you do I won't help you, but if you find it to be a trouble to do it alone, then I will."
Sensor looked baffled.
"Well, I don't mind," he began bravely, "to do it by myself, but if you want to help because you like to do it, then you may help me."
"Please, do not offer or not offer anything on my account, just do as you please."
The party members were excited; they never had witnessed such a battle; the battle of the paladins; the friendliest battle of them all, at least, on the outside.
It was Sensors turn again. They could see his nerves couldn't take much more.
"I hope you don't mind me saying more to you, but.."
"I don't mind, you can say anything to me, my friend," I replied.
Sensor suddenly started slaying I in the most terrible manner.
"Ha! You didn't let me finish my sentence, which is an evil act!" he yelled at him.

All the party members praised Sensor for his action, because none of them could stand two paladins around, and they partied round their campfire, because I was worth a lot of experience-points.
